The Tragedy Of The Apostle Paul

Sermon Series
A short reflection on how Paul the Apostle’s life shows that God’s grace can transform even a flawed past into a purpose that impacts generations.

Paul knew what it was to have a substantial purpose despite significant sin. Perhaps this is why he used the word “grace” more than anybody else in the Bible. Paul didn’t know when he was writing letters from prison cells, he was writing 13 books of the New Testament — words that would ripple through nations and generations for centuries to come. Paul’s calling to advance the gospel didn’t merely change his life — it cost him his life. But even in death his message couldn’t be silenced because God’s mission couldn’t be stopped.

Paul knew what it was to be broken by sin, blinded by grace, and poured out for the glory of God.
